VEGA has SANsymphony on the Radar

VEGA Grieshaber KG (VEGA), the international market leader in the field of radar sensors, has implemented a Virtual Storage Infrastructure with IBM XIV arrays and DataCore storage virtualisation software. SANsymphony enables a transparent failover between IBM high-end storage devices located in two VEGA data centers. The highly available, cost-effective and fast 86 TB SAN with DataCore software and IBM hardware is used for business-critical applications such as Exchange, SQL Clusters, SAP databases and performance-demanding VMware environments with high random I/O.
